This 1045 Carbon Steel Shinto Katana is perfect for the beginner swordsman! A very inexpensive battle ready katana, this sword is full tang and sharp. It has a 7MM thick 1045 high carbon steel blade that is through hardened. The handle is wrapped in artificial rayskin and black cord in the traditional manner. The tsuba features a Shinto style dragon. A black lacquered saya (sheath, scabbard) is included.
- Hand made from hardened 1045 high carbon steel with a Bo Hi.
- Razor sharp fully functional. The blade is full tang (extends to the end of the handle) with double bamboo peg on handle.
- The Saya (scabbard) has a black high gloss piano finish with matching cord wraps
